Uzbekistan and South Korea to hold Intergovernmental Committee Meeting on Cooperation

On May 21, at MFERIT were held talks with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Korea to Uzbekistan Lee Uk-hyun.
During the talks, the sides discussed issues of further expansion of trade, economic, investment, financial and technical cooperation. Particular attention was paid to elaboration of promising investment projects in various economy sectors, especially in the petrochemical, chemical, engineering, electrical, pharmaceutical, textile industry and etc.
The sides also agreed to continue active preparation for the upcoming regular meeting of the Intergovernmental Committee on Trade and Economic Cooperation between the two countries in Tashkent.
