Minimum tax rate on personal income decreased to 7.5%

     By Presidential Resolution "On key macroeconomic indicators and parameters forecast of the State Budget of Uzbekistan for 2014", the minimum tax rate on personal income has been reduced by 0.5%.
     Thus, according to the document, starting from January 1, 2014, the new tax rate has been set at 7.5%. At the same time, medium (five to ten times the minimum wage) and the maximum (ten times the minimum wage or higher) rates are kept at 2013 level - 16% and 22%, respectively.
     It should be noted that over the past six years, the minimum tax rate on personal income has been reduced from 13% in 2008 to 7.5% in 2014.
