Loans granted to Small Businesses amounted to 5.6 trillion soums

     As was noted at the expanded meeting of the Board of the Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan on the results of the banking system in 9 months of this year, as of October 1, 2013 the amount of loans allocated to small businesses in Uzbekistan amounted to 5.6 trillion soums, an increased by 1.3 times compared to the same period last year.
     Moreover, the banks of Uzbekistan pays special attention to the inclusion of young people, especially graduates of professional colleges, in entrepreneurship and provide financial support for their business projects. So, in 9 months of 2013 loans to 108.3 billion soums were allocated for this purpose, which is by 2.8 times more than in the same period of 2012.
