In Uzbekistan exports of food industry products amounted to $ 313.6 million

     According to the State Committee on Statistics of the Republic of Uzbekistan in January- September this year, the food industry output Uzbekistan amounted to 5,779.4 billion soums or by 8.6 % more than in the same period last year.
The share of the food industry in total industrial output was 13.2 %.
     During the period under review, large companies in the sector exceeded last year’s figures in the production of such consumer products as bread and bakery products - by 12.8 %, pasta - by 19.9 %, vegetable oil - by 17.6 %, butter - by 44.7 %, milk and dairy products - by 23.2 %, cheese, - 8 times, soaps - by 15.4 %, mineral water - by 6.4%.
     Exports of the food industry products in January-September this year amounted to $ 313.6 million or 143.5 % over the same period in 2012.
