From December 15, the minimum wage in Uzbekistan to increase to 96105 soums

On December 2, the President of Uzbekistan signed a decree (№ UP- 4582), according to which, from December 15, 2013 the salaries of employees of budget institutions and organizations, pensions, stipends and social allowances will be raised for 5%, reports norma.uz.
According to the Decree, from December 15, 2013, in the Republic of Uzbekistan the minimum wage shall be 96105 soums per month (up for 5%), age pensions - 187970 soums, social allowances to the disabled from childhood - 187970 soums, and allowances for the elderly and disabled citizens who do not have the required seniority - 115340 soums.
We remind that last time the minimum wage in Uzbekistan was raised on 15 August 2013. Then, the minimum wage was raised to 91530 soums per month, age pensions - 179020 soums, allowances to disabled from childhood - 179020 soums, and allowances for the elderly and disabled citizens who do not have the required seniority - 109850 soums.
