"Turkey by Uzbek artists"

On April 29, 2019, the Embassy of the Republic of Turkey in Uzbekistan prepared and implemented the project “Turkey by Uzbek artists” involving friendly and fraternal Uzbek artists in the Gallery of Fine Arts of Uzbekistan to promote advertising of Turkish region.

A group of Uzbek artists visited Turkey being invited by the Embassy of Turkey. The first group including Bakhtiyor Makhkamov, Kamoliddin Abdullayev, Khurshid Ziyakhanov, Shakhnos Abdullaeva and Zebiniso Sharipova visited Hatay from September 5 to 12, 2017. The second group including Sobirjon Rakhmetov, Kamoliddin Mirzayev, Farrukh Akhmadaliyev and Rustam Khudaiberganov visited Bursa from October 24 to 30, 2017.

After observing for themselves a strange country with a rich history and amazingly beautiful nature, the Uzbek artists continued to create works dedicated to this amazing land for another year and a half.  

This project resulted in the exhibition “Turkey by Uzbek artists”, which presented 70 works by Uzbek artists. Each work conveyed own vision, impression and emotions associated with Turkey.

This project acquires a particular importance and value in terms of friendship between Turkey and Uzbekistan.
