JSC "O‘zmilliybank" Warns the Public!
JSC "O‘zmilliybank" draws the attention of social network users and the population of our country to false information being spread, such as: “The National Bank has allocated you a loan of 50 million UZS” and calls from various phone numbers offering “various gifts.”
We firmly declare that these are fraudulent schemes hiding behind the bank’s name, and their number is increasing every year.
Fraudsters often use the names of large companies, banks, government agencies, funds, and even well-known individuals trusted by our citizens. Therefore, to avoid becoming a victim of such fraud, it is important to always be vigilant and careful, and first of all, to make sure that the website being offered is official.
For reliable information, always use only the bank’s official website www.nbu.uz and official social media channels:
Telegram: t.me/nbu_official
Facebook: www.fb.com/uznbu
Instagram: www.instagram.com/nbu.official
or contact the bank’s call center at 78 148-00-10, 1344.
Be cautious and warn your loved ones about these fraudulent activities.
If you receive such a call – do not engage in conversation.
In addition, to prevent fraud involving bank cards, we would like to once again remind you of some simple rules to help protect your card:
Do not share your card details (number, expiration date, CVV/CVC code, PIN code) or your mobile banking account information with strangers;
Remember: to transfer money to another card, it is enough to know its 16-digit number;
The bank or any payment organization will never ask for your card’s expiration date or one-time confirmation codes received via SMS.
Never share one-time confirmation codes with anyone.
Fraudsters can use this code to transfer funds from your account without your consent or manage your funds via mobile applications.
Keep your card in a secure place, inaccessible to others, and never hand it over to strangers.
Do not trust messages offering easy money or “random” prizes in promotions, avoid suspicious links and websites, and never enter your card details on such sites.
If each of us takes personal responsibility for our finances, becomes financially literate, and follows these simple rules, criminals will not be able to access our money.
