The "Talaba Expo-2025" professional exhibition was held in Andijan.

Ensuring youth employment is not only of socio-economic importance but is also closely linked to stability and spirituality. After all, young people engaged in productive work can clearly envision their future. They feel a deep sense of pride and satisfaction knowing that their labor is contributing to the prosperity of the Motherland. Confidently and decisively climbing the career ladder, they strive to make their future even brighter.

That is why our President Shavkat Mirziyoyev pays special attention to ensuring youth employment, putting forward specific, targeted, and socially oriented initiatives to solve pressing issues in this area. The “Step into the Future” centers operating across the country play an important role in ensuring youth employment, supporting their advanced ideas, and fostering harmony between education, science, and production.

Starting this year, the professional exhibition and job fair “Talaba Expo-2025” has successfully launched in all regions of the country. This project, organized in cooperation with the Joint-Stock Company “National Bank for Foreign Economic Activity” and a number of other organizations, is noteworthy for its ability to thoroughly study students’ opinions, thoughts, dreams, and aspirations, and to listen to their wishes.

One such exhibition and job fair held in Andijan was organized in accordance with the Presidential Decree of February 14, 2025, “On Additional Measures to Assist in the Employment of Graduates of Higher Education Institutions,” in cooperation with the JSC “National Bank for Foreign Economic Activity of the Republic of Uzbekistan,” the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation, and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

The event was held at Andijan State University and was attended by more than 320 employers offering 2,150 job vacancies. This exhibition and job fair provided young people with an opportunity to become acquainted with available job positions, explore and analyze innovative ideas, and gain detailed information about leading enterprises and organizations in the region.

So, what were the results of this socio-educational project?

The “Talaba Expo-2025” exhibition and job fair was attended by 9,235 young people. Nearly 2,500 of them underwent interviews with employers. As a result, 1,031 young people were employed. In addition, 72 participants presented their entrepreneurial projects during the event.

The Joint-Stock Company “National Bank for Foreign Economic Activity” also introduced three major credit products: “First Step into the Future,” “Start for the Future,” and “Towards a Bright Future.” These services are aimed at supporting youth entrepreneurship and play a special role in encouraging practical ideas of young people.

Such social projects are another clear example of the fact that our state is not indifferent to the fate of its youth.
