Who is a mahalla banker?
As part of the "Mahalla Banker" initiative, bank employees are assigned to mahallas throughout Uzbekistan to assist residents in developing their businesses. These bankers study the needs of the local population, engage with community members, and provide support at every stage - from the initial idea to its implementation

To this day
The National Bank of Uzbekistan has assigned 312 mahalla bankers across the country. They are working closely with the population to make banking services accessible and understandable to everyone
